BestPractice

An excellent FREE open source tool for slowing down and/or changing pitch of CDs and *.wav files so you can practice or learn. It comes in real handy if the recording you want to play along with is too fast or if it is in a key you find hard to play.

Hey Sheila - thanks for your kind words.  I'm living up in Wichita Falls now - and it's an accordion wasteland..:-)  I'll try to figure out how to post some diatonic videos.

Hi Shelia

Good to hear from you. I started this after taking the course from Susan Torres. I have now learned about five methods to make tablature for the button accordion, from simple to complex. If you would like to start a blog or forum, please do. The CTAA is still moving slow, as it is still dominated by the Willard accordion circle, despite new leadership.

HI Kay - do not put yourself down - you are a fantastic player - and you have a great gift on the accordion. Hope you to see more of you. I am playing the 3 row now and loving it. I have written 3 lesson books with backtracks for the 3 row GCF and my studio students are really growing in their playing abilities.

We have also produced a DVD for the GCF about how to play adornos.

I would love to start a weekly blog here to teach songs that are Conjunto and Norteno AS WELL as European Folk. Please post some of your videos here.

Shelia
