You are speaking about a piano keyboard accordion - correct? Yes - you can start on a 120 bass - as long as the accordion is not too large or heavy for you. The Blog here - have excellent lessons - just follow - PH2 - stands for Palmer and Hughes Lesson Book 2 - then start with the session numbers - 1 - then 2. EACH BLOG has the music and 1 hour video to teach the songs - designed for the very beginner. Please let me know if you have problems with the blog locations.

Hi

Good to hear from you. Your message is a little confusing on the bass question. We recommend starting with a small, light weight instrument. So any accordion will do related to the bass. Most simple music is in 3 keys, ( F, C, G ) so you will not need alot of the bass chords and buttons as a starter. Related to voices ( switches ), you will probably not need more than two to start. If possible join an accordion club to have someone to ask questions of and hear the instrument…

Good to hear from you. Your message is a little confusing on the bass question. We recommend starting with a small, light weight instrument. So any accordion will do related to the bass. If possible join an accordion club to have someone to ask questions of and hear the instrument played. It takes about two years to leave the beginner stage for the intermediate. If you look in our blog section, you will find much simple sheet music. Pick some easy two or three chord songs that you like. There are books that are sold with two chord and three chord songs with big and lettered notes. Good Luck. let us hear from you.
