  tradition in Tomball. Every year, on the last\nWeekend in March, fest
 ival-goers break out their Lederhosen and Dirndls\n\"Go German\" for t
 he area's largest festival celebrating the heritage of the original Ge
 rman settlers in our area. In other words in the case of German herita
 ge there is much to celebrate in this part of Texas!\n\nBicycle Rally 
 or Fahrradreisen sponsored by Texas Wheels of Justice will be Saturday
  the 27th.\n\nThe 10th Annual Tomball German Heritage Festival will be
  March 26,27,28, 2010 located on the Old Downtown Streets of Tomball T
 exas near 201 S. Elm Street, Main Street (FM 2920), and Market Street.
  It is a Music/Street festival celebrating German and ethnic heritage 
 with 4 stages of live music entertainment \"happy music for happy peop
 le\", ethnic and festival food, beer, wine, 150 street vendors, all ki
 nds of German souvenirs and clothing, arts crafts, antiques, Heritage 
 Center, German church service, fireworks, carnival, pony ride, petting
  zoo, strolling music makers, street performers, and much more. Like O
 ktoberfest in March! Huge fun for the whole family! You do not have to
  be German to enjoy this festival. It is fun for everyone, and one of 
 the best street festivals in Texas. Willkommen! No admission or parkin
 g fees.\n\nThe Carnival opens Thursday evening March 25th with a speci
 al price for the \"all you can ride\" armband, and is located at the c
 orner of Main and Cherry.\n\nOn Friday 26th at 6pm till 10pm the music
  begins featuring Bluegrass Friday Night, Alpenfest, Chris Rybak, Walb
 urg Boys, Tuba Meisters, Round Top Brass Band, Das Ist Lustig, Terry C
 avanaugh, Kenny James, JungeMeisters, German Folk Dancers Rathkamp, de
  Texas KlopenDansers (Dutch), Scandinavian Folk Dancers, Aggie Wrangle
 rs, Ultimate Cloggers, Tomball Promanaders, Czech music makers, Valina
  and much more.\n\nSaturday 27th 10am till 10pm begins with the \"tapp
 ing of the keg\" and\nWillkommen ceremony for German exchange students
  and Tomball host families, and official opening by the Mayor of Tomba
 ll Gretchen Fagan. The music and dancing goes all day and into the nig
 ht, and at 9pm a beautiful fireworks display at Tomball's newly restor
 ed Train Depot Plaza on the festival grounds.\n\nSunday 28th 10am till
  6pm begins with German Church Service/Brother Christen Tiews of St. L
 ouis, Mo. The Biergartens open at noon on Sunday and the celebration g
