Sorry to be so late on the reply. I have been distracted with getting the word out on the West event. I think I am going to like this Net a lot more than Facebook and some of the others. It's about the people I enjoy the most ... accordionists!

thanks Dr. Kott! I am planning to be at the SAA meeting! I got the music from newsletter. I wasn't aware of the Cojunto music info. My husband would be really impressed if I could play some conjunto style songs. Looking forward to it!

I prefer to read music. I can play by ear some also. I have been diligently taking lessons for 5 years now. My email is bgarcia@gvtc.com. PDF files are fine.
Thanks again for taking the time for me!
Thanks for your intrduction to the TAN!
I am German Czech so I enjoy the Polkas and Waltz's of my youth. I am married to a Hispanic (from Laredo). He is the reason I have this accordion and inspires me to continue my accordion lessons from Debra Peters. I need to add more of the Hispanic culture's music to my play list. Hispanics are as passionate about their music as we are to our Poikas. Other than that...I really like the 60's & 70's music.
See ya in Dallas"

Hey Dan, I did receive the FR-1 DVD from the Marifest ... it came out very good. I watched it briefly, but later plan on incorporating some clips from there on my website. Good to hear about the students enjoying the FR-1 ... it's really a great accordion!
Yes sir, I had a wonderful year for bbq'in, we qualified for the state championship and the national championship, but was unable to attend either one due to family emergencies. I do have a myspace page www.myspace.com/mi_ranchito_bbq
I now have sponsor for the upcoming year and have completed building my new bbq pit.
Thanks, I hope everyone had a great time, I appreciate all the folks that came down from Killeen and the food they contributed. I had a great time even though I was caught up in the cooking chores and such. I do belive all the kids had a jumping good time. H
Hopefully we can do something like this again in the spring time.
I do not know if they are coming because they live outside of San Antoinio, but why don't you bring it along. Would you have room for the small fender P.A.?
You're welcome. I'll certainly be checking in from time to time.

This Sunday afternoon I will be among the five or six people to greet those will come to an open house at the ASTA rail yard. The locomotive and railway cars will be there so people can come and see what ASTA has.

I cringe when I see that the Christmas rides are already sold out. I have signed on as volunteer Papa Noel for the three Sundays and one Saturday in December. There will be two trains with some 600 people per train for each day.

Daniel,
What is the best way to let everybody know about two accordions that are being sold by a friend of mine?
Thanks,
Ray
