The local newspaper ran a little spot featuring my elementary school classroom in Pearland. All third and fourth graders learn keyboard skills on accordions.

Keep up the good work. The accordion is a fine instrument to learn the basics of music and music theory. This type of music instruction is part of the TEKS goals for elementary music instruction. However few Texas school are fulfilling this goal at any level of school music instruction. It is all football field oriented.
