Hello, 

i am a professor at the University Of New Mexico. I am writing about women accordianist in South Texas playing tex mex. Any leads on anyone i can interview about their experience would be appreciated. I will eventually publish the findings and place them in an archive. This is an opportunity to document women accordianist in the history of accordian tex mex. My father was an accordianist from South Texas. Joe Medina. He was teaching me how to play before he passed on. I have also taken lessons with Bene Medina at the Conjunto Heritage taller. I am still a beginner but i have la barranca down.
