Bill Palmer has not received any gifts yet
I'm really gratified and excited to see this wonderful web site. Some of you actually knew my father, who was the co-author of the Palmer-Hughes accordion course. I'm not the accordion player he was, but I still love the instrument.
If you are going to the NAA convention in March,. I'll see you there! I plan to become very active with the various accordion groups in the area in the future.
I was a professional musician in this area from roughly 1962 - 1977. My main instrument was the banjo, but I still featured the accordion in the shows I did in various venues. If you remember the groups that played at Shakey's Pizza Parlor, you might have seen me perform at the one in South Houston or the one off I-45 and Crosstimbers.
I was also a professional magician. I worked as Merlin at the Texas Renaissance Festival for 26 years.
I would love to hear from any of you, especially those who knew my dad.

This took place right after the Boni Mauricio diatonic accordion workshop. After the big jam sessions, we went out for dinner, then returned to participate in the international event. The US was given two time slots near the end of the day. Joann Cochran Summers presented her ensemble well and discussed her pedagogy program at the U of Missouri in Kansas…

Norm will probably. paloy snare drums.;Let me know ASAP so i can publish the music.
We will probably use two book series. The Palmer Hughes book two with the Marines Hymns and the Cassons song. The key made be changed to concert Bb. Essential 2000 series for high school band. Grand Old Flag, and Shelia recommended Deep in the Heart of Texas.
