Looking for Mexican sheet music for G/C/F diatonic accordion

Hi:

I just joined TAN. I came across the sheet music for La Cucaracha posted by Mr. Kott and adapted by Sheila Lee. Is there an explanation for the notation used? I have some music for a Hohner Club IIB which uses the Handshuh adapted note system which is somewhat similar. Although I understand in principal how the note system works, I need an explanation.
