Event Description
45 minute Button accordion lessons by Susan Torres - No prior musical experience needed. A class instrument will be provided and a one hour a week studio practice pass. Every Monday and Thursday from June 4 to July 12, from 6:30 to 7:15 p.m.

The course so far has consisted of teaching the students to play one song a Mexican polka Rose Anna by ear on a F,C,G diatonic accordion. The method includes playing with both in and out bellows. Also included is some instruction on a written tablature system that uses a numbering system for the three rows of buttons. Students get to practice with the MACC's button accordions.
