Good ipad app for practicing music or playing
A good Ipad app for music playing and practice is djay. It has tow turntables and the same controls as a djay turntable. You can play both at the same time and switch between the two. You can slow or speed up either turntable.
You can move the needle arm to any location to play or start. It has a running time table to tell up where you are. It also has a graphic volume meter that helps tell you where you are. It is well both the price. Let me know what you think. More to come.

This is a great app, available for both the IPhone and IPad, that lets you practice your tunes wherever you are with your device.

As with my FR3X there was definitely a learning curve. It helped to save the Forscore manual and my Roland manual in PDF format. I then placed them in Forscore for easy referral. I know the the boys at IBM say "Manuals are for whimps...." but I'm not proud:)

I also use Dropbox to send music to my band members and to move from computer to Forscore.

I have put all my music on my Ipad using Forscore. I use a Pageflip foot pedal to flip pages. All works well.

At the NAA convention 2013. MECCA presentations on Saturday will show how to use the Ipad for sheet music storage. Also for use of the MECCA videos and audio files on youtube channel mecatx.

Jawbone - another good speaker for the iPad/iPhone/tablets. Also good with Roland FR-1, that does not have speakers. They are blue tooth speakers, so they can be put at a distance from the transmitting devise and connected without wires. Easy to do with the iPad. There are two sizes available. A small and a large (both light weight) They are available at Best Buy stores for less than $300.

There are two good iPad apps for the diatonic button accordion students. They are the Hohner button accordion apps for various tuned button accordions such as GCF. Both versions can be played liked a button accordion bu putting it on you chest and using your right and left hands. In the first version, the keyboard will also display the lettered notes. You can use earphones, connect to an audio system, or use the built in speaker. The newer version has more features. the keyboard will display the button accordion tablature notes. It also includes a listing of songs with the tablature of many songs that are on the web site www.reyesaccordion.com. These two apps make it easy to practice anytime, anywhere. and learn with the tablature system. They are well worth the cost.

I video all kinds of music with my iPhone....have an older iPad, so can't do videos with it.
