Getting there

Thank you all for your encouragement.  I found a company in Philly that rents accordions.  Last night was my first meeting with teacher.  Was worried she would find something wrong with my accordion.  She tried it and said it was very good for someone starting out.  First lesson is tonight at 6pm.  My teacher just moved to my area from Germany 5 months ago.  She was not familar with the Palmer hughes book I had, but liked it.  Really enjoyed meeting her.  We spoke for awhile about what kind…

need help to get started

Hi,  I am as much a beginner as you can be.  Found a place near me to take lessons from someone with a music/accordion background.  I am wondering about a accordion for sale here.  I am interested since the owner is in same town as accordion repair store with good rep.  I am going to ask the owner of the accordion to have the shop evaluate the accordion for me.  Question is can a beginer learn on a 120 bass with two switches (aperto,chiuso).    One with 120 bass is intimadating to me.  My…
