NAA 26th Anniversary Celebration March 6-10, 2013

The National Accordion Association's 26th Annual Festival will be an informative and fun event for all accordion enthusiasts taking place from March 6-10 at the Westin Park Central in Dallas, Texas.
The convention offers an exciting and educational event including concerts, workshops, trade shows, band camp, jamming all day and night, "Circle of Champions", and much more. All types of accordions are welcome.
For 2013, Convention Manager Gordon Kohl returns to the National Accordion Convention as a rock 'n roll band director that features the accordion! Gordon Kohl will direct a "Tribute to the American Bandstand and Dick Clark"
NAA President Norman Seaton says,"It is time for the accordion world to join the guitar-driven music and have just as much fun as they do. This event will be a merger of music, rhyme, and vocals. Musical selections will be "Ring of Fire", "I Walk the Line"", Kansas City", "Rock Around the Clock", "Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain", "Great Balls of Fire", "Wake Up Little Suzie", "Love Letters in the Sand", and "Que Sera Sera".
Dick Albreski will direct both the youth band and the adult "recreational music fun band." This is a traditional accordion band that is designed for beginner to intermediate players.
